Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer! It causes the majority of skin cancer related deaths due to its ability to spread quickly if not detected early.

A few facts everyone should know:
👥1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer by age 70
💪Melanoma can develop anywhere on the body (not just sun-exposed areas)
🔎It often appears as a new or changing mole (think ABCDE: asymmetry, border, color, diameter, evolving)
⭐️When caught early, the 5-year survival rate is over 99%

Melanoma doesn’t always look alarming, but that’s what makes awareness so important. Subtle changes can carry serious significance. This is why routine skin exams are so important!

We’re honored to partner with the American Academy of Dermatology for this event and to welcome medical students from the University of North Dakota, who join us in supporting this important effort.

Our dedicated provider team volunteers their time to personally perform these screenings, ensuring each person receives a thorough and thoughtful evaluation. We’re committed to providing the most comprehensive overview of your skin, because catching concerns early can make all the difference.
