Nikki Welk, PA-C

board-certified physician assistant

Nikki is a board-certified physician assistant and has her license from the North Dakota Board of Medical Practice. Nikki earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota: School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The National Commission certifies her with her Certification of Physician Assistants.

Nikki provides comprehensive dermatological care for men and women of all ages as well as children. Her interests are in medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology. Nikki lives in West Fargo with her husband, two daughters, and son.

Nikki holds the prestigious title of “Diplomate Fellow” for the completion of an all-encompassing dermatology fellowship training program through the Society of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Why I love working in dermatology:

I enjoy the opportunity to treat patients of all ages from infancy to geriatrics.

I love the combination of medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology.

I enjoy providing education to patients regarding skin care and the importance of daily sunscreen for the prevention of skin cancer.

To me, the field of dermatology is very rewarding! I love the ability to treat patients with dermatologic concerns and find it very rewarding to impact our patients’ lives positively.

My favorite procedures:

I love to perform Botox® and filler procedures. My favorite procedure to receive is SkinPen® microneedling. The textural improvements and skin rejuvenation make this my cosmetic procedure must!

I must have my daily HA Plumping Peptide for hydration and the Sheer Spray Sunscreen for protection.
