Finally, once complete, you can return home.
What Are the Side Effects?
It’s common to have some swelling, redness, and numbness after your treatment session. Although you won’t require downtime, some of these residual side effects can last for one to two weeks. You can manage any discomfort and swelling with ice packs. Make sure to avoid any extensive activity for the first day or so, after which you can return to your regular activities.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Your Kybella treatment package will be unique to your goals and needs. Most patients need an average of six treatments, but it’s normal to begin seeing results after two to four treatments. The best part is that Kybella produces long-term results – once the fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer swell with weight gain.
