Dr. Rachel Ness, M.D. FAAD

Owner & Founder | Board-Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Ness is the owner of Fargo Center for Dermatology and has proudly provided care to her dermatology patients at the same practice since 2008. Dr. Ness is a board certified dermatologist through the American Board of Dermatology and serves as a fellow for the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Ness graduated from the University of North Dakota and the UND: School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Although she is a UND graduate, Dr. Ness and her family are active NDSU supporters and devoted Bison fans!

Nikki Welk, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Nikki is a board certified physician assistant and has her license from the North Dakota Board of Medical Practice. Nikki earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota: School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The National Commission certifies her with her Certification of Physician Assistants. Nikki provides comprehensive dermatological care for men and women of all ages as well as children. Her interests are in medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology.

Megan Boose, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Megan graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Neuroscience. She earned her master’s degree in Health Science from the Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. Megan is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds an active, non- prohibitory license in the state of North Dakota to practice medicine. Megan holds the prestigious title of “Diplomate Fellow” for the completion of an all-encompassing dermatology fellowship training program through the Society of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Stephanie Hinkle, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Stephanie has a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Missouri State University in 2009 and has been practicing for the last 13 years. She also holds the prestigious title of “Diplomate Fellow” for the completion of an all-encompassing dermatology fellowship training program through the Society of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is passionate about helping patients find resolutions in their overall wellness, self-esteem, and health. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is excited to be a part of a wonderful healthcare team that takes pride in providing superior patient care." She lives in Hillsboro, ND with her husband, son and daughter. Some of Stephanie’s hobbies include watching her kids at their gymnastics events, being active, and going to the lake.

Leah Wolden, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Leah is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a West Fargo native with more than a decade of healthcare experience. She started her career as a nursing assistant and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from North Dakota State University. She dedicated nearly six years to practicing as a registered nurse, specializing in various fields including obstetrics/gynecology and dermatology. Continuing her education, she pursued advanced studies and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from North Dakota State University. Leah is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Tana Shereck, BSN-RN-CANS

Aesthetic Nurse Injector

Tana has worked as a registered nurse in the medical aesthetics field for over 15 years and loves to be a part of the FCD team! She has extensive experience in a variety of injectable treatments, including neurotoxins, fillers, biostimulators, PRF/PRP, and PDO threads. Before starting a career in the medical aesthetics field, Tana worked in adult and pediatric oncology and oncology pharmaceuticals. Her compassion and dedication to her patients inspire her to help bring out their best or keep the best versions of themselves. Tana, her husband and two daughters enjoy living in the beautiful countryside along with their two fur babies. Away from work, Tana enjoys family time, beach vacations and photography.

Karis Maxwell, BSN-RN

Registered Nurse

Karis has worked in dermatology in Fargo since obtaining her RN and BSN from North Dakota State University. Karis’s favorite part of dermatology is the opportunity to work with both medical and cosmetic procedures in patients of all ages. Karis performs Skin Pen® microneedling treatments, chemical peels and excimer laser treatment for psoriasis and vitiligo. Karis also performs a variety of cosmetic laser procedures for pigmentary concerns, acne scarring, resurfacing and collagen production, and hair removal. In her spare time, Karis enjoys hunting, baking, cake decorating and helping on her family’s farm.

Jennifer Anderson, LPN

Licensed Aesthetic Nurse

Jenn started her skincare journey in 2011 with a focus in aesthetics and earned her nursing degree in 2016. Jenn specializes in Laser treatments, Microneedling, and Body Sculpting. Her favorite product is the ZO® Bright Alive and her favorite service is the IPL! Jenn lives in Fargo with her husband, son, and dog. In her spare time, Jenn loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, and practice yoga and pilates.

Lindsy Sheely

Master Aesthetician

Lindsy graduated from the Salon Professional Academy in 2012 and has been perfecting her skills as a Master Aesthetician ever since. Lindsy enjoys helping her patients with their skincare needs including product evaluations, dermaplaning, facials and much more. Her favorite service to provide is Hydrafacial because her patients can see instant results. Lindsy finds it very rewarding when her patients look and feel their absolute best!

Sienna has been working in aesthetics for over 4 years a has true passion for the aesthetics industry. She is a ZO Skin Health certified expert and loves to help patients curate an impactful skincare routine. She has struggled with acne and pigmentation and is a true advocate for the power of medical grade products! She has attended numerous trainings nationwide on aesthetic products and services and hopes to never stop learning. Sienna believes the best part about working in aesthetics is helping everyone to feel beautiful! When not at FCD she is likely spending time with her two Golden Retrievers, Lennox and Tito, at the gym, creating social media content, or traveling with her significant other!

Ashley Huschka, BSN-RN

Practice Director

Ashley joined the Fargo Center for Dermatology in January 2023 as our practice director. She has a background in cosmetology and a Bachelors in Nursing from Mayville State University. She has many years of leadership experience and is passionate about leading others. When she is not at the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and close friends. She also enjoys shopping and vacationing.

Hayley Lugert

Office Manager

Hayley has been working in the medical community for over 10 years and joined the FCD Patient Relations team in May 2022. She is a licensed Cosmetologist who loves all things skincare, assisting our patients, and leading the Patient Relations team. Outside of the clinic, Hayley lives with her Husband, son, their 2 dogs and a cat. She has a passion for animals, gardening, hiking, and traveling.

Sara Gjevre, BSN-RN

Clinical Care Manager

Sara is a registered nurse with a B.S. in Nursing from the University of North Dakota. Sara has been a nurse for over 20 years, and has spent 10 of them in a formal leadership role. She has brought her leadership experience and medical knowledge to FCD as our RN Clinical Care Manager. When she is not busy providing supportive and compassionate patient care, her and her husband are kept busy running their two children to all their practices and sporting events. Sara also enjoys golfing, biking, shopping, and spending time at the lake with her family.

OFFICE ASSISTANT

Christyn has known Dr. Ness and her family for many years and has been a part of Fargo Center for Dermatology's clinic staff since September 2022 as an office assistant, doing whatever needs to be done. Christyn lives in West Fargo with her family and two Goldendoodles Karl and Kora. In her free time, she enjoys camping all over the Midwest with her husband and dogs, traveling whenever possible, and spending time with family and friends.

Karly Prien, LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse / Medical Nurse Supervisor

Karly started at FCD in 2022 as a licensed practical nurse and has since also taken on a role as the Biologic Coordinator. She has also been trained on the Xtrac laser and PDT treatments. Karly has extensive experience in the medical field, including IV certification, work in the ICU and pediatric oncology units, and roles as a unit clerk and administrative assistant. She lives with her husband and two sons in Horace. She enjoys spending lots of time with them outdoors

Alyssa Tjosaas, LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse / Medical Nurse Supervisor

Alyssa has been assisting our patients since 2017 as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with extensive experience working in dermatology. She believes that proper education is the key to maintaining skin health and always loves teaching her patients about their medications and how to properly use them. She is equally passionate about helping patients with cosmetic procedures. Alyssa lives just outside of Barnesville, MN, with her husband and is dedicated to showing horses across the country. She has won three world titles at the Pinto World Show!

Jeanne Steiner, BSN-RN

Phone Triage Nurse

Jeanne is a registered nurse with a B.S. in Nursing who has 10 years of experience as an oncology nurse. She loves learning new specialties and has enjoyed building relationships with our patients since starting as our phone triage RN in May 2022. Jeanne lives in Fargo with her husband, two daughters, and their family dog. She loves spending time with her family at the pool and reading in her free time.

Victoria Halland, ST

Surgical Technologist

Vicky has been a surgical technician at Fargo Dermatology since 2009. She enjoys doing surgeries and suturing when she gets the chance so it's no surprise that her favorite procedure is the non-surgical thread lift. Vicky spends her free time planting, maintaining, and photographing her beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoys playing bingo during the winter or on bad weather days.

Sam Dougherty, CMA

Certified Medical Assistant

Sam has been assisting our patients as a certified medical assistant at FCD since 2018. She has an Associate's Degree in Health Sciences with a certification in Medical Assisting. Sam loves getting to know her patients and helping them with their skin care needs. She currently lives in Fargo where she is raising her two kids and enjoys spending time at their family farm in Mayville.

Dawn Pfeifer, MA

Medical Assistant

Dawn graduated with her MA in 2011 from Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead. She lived in Red Wing, MN for 6.5 years and moved back to Moorhead with her husband and 3 children in the Spring of 2023. In her spare time, Dawn likes to read and go for walks with her kids and friends. She has worked in family practice, pediatrics, and internal med. When she started at Fargo Center for Dermatology this Spring everything was new to her, and she has learned so much! Dawn loves seeing the transformation for all things skin, especially acne. She says that watching our patients feel confident and love their skin again is the best reward! The most incredible things she has learned about are skin pen and how many different diagnoses and treatment options there could be for 1 rash.

Allison Roiger, MA

Allison started her dermatology career at FCD as a gap year intern and transitioned to full-time in March 2023. She holds a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. As someone who struggled with acne in the past, Allison enjoys working with acne patients and is always excited to join them in the process of seeing their skin clear up. In her free time, Allison enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts, and trying to keep house plants alive.

Billing Specialist

Amanda works as our billing/insurance specialist. She originally started as a Patients Relations Lead in 2017. She loves assisting people with claims and helping them navigate the complexities of insurance. Amanda is married to her high school sweetheart and has two daughters currently working toward degrees in occupational therapy and nursing. Together, they love to travel and attend hockey games.

Courtney Sinclair

Billing Specialist

Courtney has been working in the medical billing and insurance world for ten years. She enjoys helping patients understand their medical bills and how medical insurance works. She’s excited to help patients at Fargo Center for Dermatology understand any billing concerns they have. She lives in Fargo with her husband and two young boys. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time at the lake, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Megan has been working in the customer service field for over 10 years. She was born in Bismarck, ND but came to Fargo to attend North Dakota State University for her college career. In her free time, she loves to read, do anything outdoors, and spend time with her husband and Goldendoodle, Fran.

Jessica was born and raised in Southern Nebraska and moved to West Fargo in 2004. She is married to husband Jeremy (who is a lineman.), and they have 2 kids attending NDSU and 2 in high school. Jessica worked in Special Education for 12 years. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, reading, traveling and visiting new places, especially if there is a beach, Jessica loves attending concerts, and rarely misses a Bison football game. She has been a patient of Dr. Ness for many years and is excited to be a part of the team at Fargo Derm!

PATIENT RELATIONS

Kennedy has a passion for making a positive impact on the healthcare experience, and has been a patient relations representative for three years. She is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a medical/aesthetic physician assistant. Originally from Fargo, she enjoys attending concerts, travelling, going to the lake and spending time with her two dogs Milo (Goldendoodle) and Aspen (Sheba lab mix).

Beth Jaroszewski

Beth has been working in the medical field in customer service for the past 10 years. She enjoys getting to know patients and strives to make sure their experience is a positive one. She lives in Fargo with her son, daughter, dog, and cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends, reading and trying out new recipes.

Andrea Hinkley

Andrea was born and raised in Fargo, and is excited for this new opportunity to help patients feel confident in there own skin and being able to create great relationships with each of them. When Andrea is not at the clinic she is coaching little girls gymnastics for the FM Acro Team. In her free time she likes to go to the lake, enjoys shopping, traveling, or hanging out with friends and family.
