Megan graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Neuroscience. She earned her master’s degree in Health Science from the Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. Megan is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds an active, non- prohibitory license in the state of North Dakota to practice medicine.
Megan holds the prestigious title of “Diplomate Fellow” for the completion of an all-encompassing dermatology fellowship training program through the Society of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (SDPA).

I am passionate about treating patients of all ages and ethnicities with thorough and compassionate dermatologic care. The visible rewards of a well-executed treatment plan make dermatology a unique and special field because the improvement is seen not only in the skin, but in the patient’s countenance as well! I enjoy being part of a winning dermatology health care team here at Fargo Center for Dermatology, where we all work together to optimize patient care.
My Favorite Procedure:
I have experience working with a Mohs surgeon, and I love performing surgeries. With each surgery, my goal is to make certain that the patient completely understands the procedure, is comfortable with the process, and is pleased with the aesthetic outcome.
My Favorite Products:
I love the Pure HA Plumping Peptide Boost and the Antioxidant Ceramide Moisturizer. While this moisturizer is marketed for the body, I apply it to my face twice a day for dry skin, and it is VERY moisturizing.

I visited the Fargo Center for Dermatology based on a friend’s recommendation. Best recommendation ever! For several years, I have had issues with my scalp. It itched, it throbbed, it scabbed, it flaked, it HURT, and no matter what I tried, it never got better. Enter Dr. Megan Boose. She listened to me intently, asked questions about my experience, and developed a multi-phase approach to help diagnose the issue and find solutions. We learned that I not only have very sensitive skin, but scalp dysesthedia, folliculitis, and seborrheic dermatitis.
Dr. Boose had a treatment plan for every condition. She explained the steps thoroughly, allowed me to ask questions, and even encouraged me to share ideas for treatment as we went through the process. Before visiting her, I saw multiple doctors and no one had a solution.
I recently visited Fargo Center for Dermatology for a skin exam with Megan. She was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining everything to me in detail!
The entire team, under the guidance of Dr. Rachel Ness, has made my dermatology experience an excellent one. Aside from my scalp, Dr. Boose has provided treatment for general acne/skin conditions. Visiting their office is an experience I look forward to because I know I will always receive excellent care. I am very thankful for this clinic. To get a cancer screening at my health care providers derm clinic is practically impossible, I had to wait almost a yr to get one. So I looked elsewhere and I found Fargo Center for Dermatology and I could get in within a couple of weeks. They are thorough and check you from head to toe and every inch in between. Megan let me know I had some red dots but they were normal and some other spots maybe to watch, and answered my question about some deep painful acne and prescribed something for it. They don’t push any treatment that is not needed or elective like a few other clinics do. From the front desk all the way to the clinical room everyone is so nice and cheerful. My 2 young girls are getting their cancer screening soon and they are excited for their turn. Have to teach them young.
In the last year, under Dr. Boose’s care, I can confidently say that she has changed my life. I’m no longer on constant pain and can go about my daily life with a treatment plan designed specifically for me. Before I saw her, I thought I was going to have to live the rest of my life with a sore scalp, but she was determined to not let that happen!
I have been searching for answers for 4 years and 2 other dermatologist I finally have answers thanks to Dr. Ness and her staff.( especially Megan Boose ) Thank you all for the wonderful help
The nursing staff and the office staff that meet us as receptionist are helpful and friendly, and make the experience not so stressful since I am somebody who gets stressed when I have to have exams. My caregiver Megan Boose through Rachel Ness is absolutely outstanding and I needed to come back I got right in And she was just excellent. I cannot say enough and I have sent people your way.
